Course Description

Power System II discusses the transmission lines and their properties, modelling, and performance characteristics. This subject details topics associated with the transmission lines like insulation materials, cables, transients in transmission lines, corona. This subject covers concepts on block diagrams, time-domain analysis, solutions to time-invariant systems. It covers, in-depth, different aspects of stability analysis in the frequency domain and time domain.
